CRAZY DIAMOND

This adorable, playful and crazy kitten got its name from the song “"Shine On You Crazy Diamond" a nine-part Pink Floyd composition with lyrics written by Roger Waters in tribute to former band member Syd Barrett. Having chosen the music theme for our kitten names, it was unimaginable for me to leave the Pink Floyd out of it, since they are my favourite band!

Pattern - COLOUR POINT
Status - TO KEEP IN OUR CATTERY
The high pitch voice of this kitten inspired us to name her "Grace Kelly" a song by Mika who coincidentally is also renowned for this particular voice! In real life, Grace Kelly was an Academy Award-winning American film, stage actress and Princess of Monaco. The lyric "So I tried a little Freddie" is a reference to Queen's Freddie Mercury, to whose singing voice Mika's has been compared.

Glamour, our Queen, gave birth to this beautiful litter in the early hours of Tuesday 8th September 2009. That day, The Maltese Islands were commemorating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin which is remembered universally by the Catholic Church. The Maltese have a further reason to celebrate the 8th September also traditionally known asVictory Day; in remembrance of the victories against the Turks in Great Siege of 1565 and against the Mussolini’s attacks in 1943 during the World War II. Plus it felt like a great victory for us having such a beautiful litter for the first time!

Polka, besides referring to dance music widely danced in the Central Europe, it is also a pattern consisting of a series of dots that are equally spaced and sized. Polka dots are most commonly seen on children's clothing, toys, and furniture, but they appear in a wide array of contexts. The eyes and nose of this kitten are so symmetrical and round, that the name came naturally! The name was also inspired by the title of Lady Gaga’s song “Poker Face”.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
Reservations, Waiting List & Contract
Before deciding to buy a kitten, please ensure that you are committed for a long loving relationship and you can dedicate enough time and attention for its utmost care. Ragdolls in particular are very close to their owners and need constant human attention and love.
Quality of kittens (pet/show/breed) will be identified at around 4-8 weeks of age. Those which are identified as pet quality, will be neutered at 11 weeks of age before going to their new home (no exceptions). Kittens are then ready to go to their new loving homes at the age of 12-14 weeks.
They will be vet checked, vaccinated, de-wormed, litter trained, spayed/neutered (as necessary), chipped and registered with certified Pedigree. We also DNA-test our breeding cats for HCM and PKD.
All our kittens come with a contract in which we specify the details of the purchase.
Delivery of Kittens to their new home
If kittens are sold in Malta, we shall deliver them personally to their new home.
If kittens are sold overseas, they should not be sent alone as travelling conditions could be poor and risky. The new owner could pick them up personally or we also offer to accompany the kitten personally ourselves by plane, therefore we can deliver worldwide.
We would also appreciate if we keep in touch with the new family to monitor the kitten’s development and we are ready to assist the new family with any questions they would like to have answered or advise they would like to receive related to the cat’s lifelong development.
DIFFERENT KITTEN QUALITIES
Pet Quality:
Kittens that will provide love and joy in their new homes. They cannot be used for breeding as they are neutered, however they can be shown as ‘alters’. Good character and temperament.
Breed Quality:
Kittens that have great ragdoll features therefore can be used for breeding to enhance the quality of the ragdoll breed and make it more appreciated. Qualities are suitable for breeding and the pattern is close to perfect (you can never have a perfect cat!). Good character and temperament.
Show Quality:
Kittens that are good for breeding, but also to participate in shows due to their very good qualities and markings. Good character and temperament.
